Located in the village of Ammerschwihr, just north of Colmar in Alsace, Domaine Binner is a very prestigious family that has been making wine since 1770. The vinification is based on the motto “farming as it should be,” with no pesticides and very little use of SO2.

The label depicts a liver due to the similarity in pronunciation between Si Rose and Cirrhose.

The wine was macerated for 8 days without destemming, then sur-lee aged for 8 months in Foudre, and bottled without filtration, fining, or SO2 additives.

As the name implies, the nose is complex, with rose aromas mixed with nuances of peaches, black tea, and ginger. The wine flows pleasantly with a delicious red fruit flavor and subtle tannins.
