The Magnan family is a prestigious domaine based in Moret St. Denis. The family was established in 1967 by Michel Magnan, the fourth generation of a winegrower. His son, Frédéric Magnan, who excelled not only in winemaking but also in the wine business, is the fifth and current head of the family. The wines produced in the company's own vineyards are named after his father, and are wines of elegance and finesse.

The special classified vineyard Clos de la Roche is a great vineyard called the quintessence of the village of Moret, and Magnan owns a plot on the west side near Clos Saint-Denis. The wine has a tight, linear structure, and the depth of the wine, which seems to go on forever from the moment you drink it, makes you wonder if it is a Grand Cru.
