The winery is owned by brothers Colin and Robert Forbes. The wine is dedicated to their father, affectionately known locally as "Murray," who was instrumental in the founding of the winery. Murray was an Australian farmer with a great sense of humor and a good story to tell, who always had a smile on his face as he did the hard physical work day in and day out.

Only released when Colin judged the wine to be at its perfect ripeness, the 2014 red wine is also mature and very round on the palate. It is not only gentle but also concentrated with layers and layers of ripe berries. The finish is refined yet present, with mint and seaweed nuances and a long, lingering finish that lingers forever.
