The village of Péronne is located 15km from North Mâcon. The average age of the vines used for this wine is over 50 years. It has a rich fruitiness from the calcareous soil and an abundance of minerals. The wine has a plump, southern Burgundy flavor with a good amount of minerality and acidity. It is rich and best served lightly chilled.
