Novum is a tiny-production winery run by Will and Rachel. From their own vineyards, they select only the finest “sweet spot” vines for their wines, supplying even excellent remaining fruit to partner wineries. Will, who first made wine at eleven and later trained around the world, brings Old World philosophy and technique to his native Marlborough. This Pinot Noir combines Marlborough’s rich, fleshy fruit and savory depth with complex notes of cigar and leather—a true meeting point of the Old World and the New.
