Bright purple concentration. Rich, ripe blackcurrant and berry aromas with a slight hint of sweet and sour American cherry jam wrapped in chocolate and caramel.　The nuance of vanilla softens acidity and makes tannins very gentle, friendly and round mothfeel. The mid to late palate adds mocha nuances, and the lingering acidity and aromatic aftertaste, which extends gently, is  luxurious.

Lodi is famous for its Zinfandel, which is usually served with BBQ, but the diversity and technological improvements, such as the introduction of new varieties of Petit Syrah and Tannat, make this region one to look forward to in the future.
