Who is Andre?

Who is Andr when you see the grape variety? Don't worry, that's a normal reaction. It is a variety born in the Czech Republic in the 1960s from a cross between Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent, and it is blended into this wine by limiting the yield of the originally prolific (= basically low grade) variety and giving it a noble taste.

This is a wine with a particular focus on achieving the "fusion of red and black fruits" that they are pursuing by adding Portogether grapes from 2021 in response to global warming. Sweet, sour and spicy, this is a food-friendly wine that can be enjoyed right after it is uncorked.
