Since Greece has an image of wine making using local varieties, I have not had many opportunities to drink Greek Chardonnay on purpose, but I was surprised at the high level of the finished product. With Burgundy soaring in price, having an option like this will greatly expand the range of enjoyment.

It has ripe apple and tropical fruit, but unlike New World wines, it has a European feel to it. The fruit, acidity, and oaky aroma are well balanced, and this Chardonnay has a luxurious feel.
