Description:
Pairing with Mapo Tofu
I first had this wine at a Chinese restaurant in Tokyo. It was a tongue-tingling experience that went very well with mapo tofu. The wine has a transparent ruby appearance with charming berry fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. But when you put it in your mouth, you unexpectedly feel a strong astringent taste. It was a delightful betrayal of a seemingly fragile girl who actually had a lot of guts. The core flavor, which does not lose out to the spicy and meaty flavor of the bean-curd soup, spurs the appetite.
This is a bottle that shows off the sense of Oscar Mestre, a young winemaker from Alicante, Spain, who aims to make wines that make the most of local varieties.

Post date : 18/11/2024 Monday
