I encountered a Barolo that surprised me with its sense of style at the first impression of its aroma. Barolo from Monforte has the image of being hard and requiring long ripening, making it difficult to drink when young, but in fact, this region is said to be a complex land that cannot be described in one word.

This Barolo is not hard, but rather fluffy, soft, and full of floral aromas. The taste is somewhat sweet and harmonized with fine tannins, like the finest sweets with the utmost elegance. This is a wonderful wine that is gorgeous when drunk now, with tea-like aromas to be expected as it ages.
